Creating Contacts With Cox Mobile Connect

Learn to transfer caller name or phone number to your contact list.


Use your smart phone or other mobile device to create contacts from your received calls.


Important: Be sure to install the Cox Mobile Connect app on your mobile device before you begin. 

  1. Launch the Cox Mobile Connect app.
  2. Sign in with your User ID and Password. If you haven't already created a User ID and Password, go to Cox.com and click Register at the very top of the screen.
  3. Tap the Home Phone icon from the Cox Mobile Connect app.

The default screen, All Calls displays. Either choose a number from this list or one of the call lists at the bottom of the screen. Your choices are shown at the bottom of the screen. They are All Calls, Incoming, Outgoing and Voice Mail.

Note: If the contact you choose is not present in your app contact list, then a pop up displays allowing you to create a new contact.


Tap the Create New Contact option. For example, on the left is the iPhone. On the right, the Android.

Enter or edit information about the New Contact, and then tap Done.
