Change Recording Settings for Contour

Solution

To change how long to save the recording or extend the recording, complete the steps below after the recording is set.

If changing…Then…
How long to Save
  1. Press the REC button on the remote.
  2. Highlight Just this episode, then press OK.
  3. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the save options.
    • Select For 1 year to prevent the program from deleting within one year.
    • Select Until space is needed to have the recording automatically delete if space is needed.

      If you have the small set top box with Pano Wi-Fi gateway, then most likely your recordings are saved in the cloud. Cloud DVR recordings are only kept for a maximum of one year, even if Until space is needed is selected.

  4. Highlight Confirm then press OK to save your changes.
Stop time
  1. Press the REC button on the remote.
  2. Highlight Just this episode, then press OK.
  3. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the stop options, then select one of the options below.
    • On time
    • 3 min late
    • 5 min late
    • 30 min late
  4. Highlight Confirm the press OK to save your changes.
