Changing Passwords in Mailbox Manager

Solution

To change the password for any of the email addresses on the account, complete the following steps.

From the Mailbox Detail View for the mailbox you want to change the password for, click Change Password.

Which mailbox is needing the password reset?

If… Then…
Admin

This process requires you to know the current password for the admin. If you do not not know the current password, then reset the password.

  1. From the Change Password window, in the Current Password field, enter the current password.
  2. In the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, enter a new password.

    Note: Click the key icon in the New Password section to auto-generate a password, then use the clipboard icon to copy the auto-generated password to the Confirm New Password field.

  3. Click Save.

Other mailboxes
  1. From the Change Password window, in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, enter a new password.

    Note: Click the key icon in the New Password section to auto-generate a password, then use the clipboard icon to copy the auto-generated password to the Confirm New Password field.

  2. Click Save.
