Changing the Voice Portal Passcode

Details

To change an end user's passcodes, use the steps in the table below.
 

Access Location Action
End-user office phone
  1. Dial 9999#.
  2. Select Option 8.
  3. Follow the voice prompts.
Outside line or cell phone Request a new passcode from the client administrator using the end user's office phone or accessing the end user's GUI and creating a new passcode.

Note: If the client administrator is not available or unable to execute the passcode change, then contact us to reset the passcode.
Online
  1. From the Services section, click the Voice icon.
  2. Click the arrow to expand the User & System Management section and complete the following.
    1. Click User Feature Settings.
    2. Locate the number you are modifying and click Edit.
  3. Click the arrow to expand the Applications section.
  4. Click Voice Portal.
  5. In the Reset Administrator Password section, click the Yes radio button.
  6. In the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, enter the new password. See Voice Portal Password Requirements for further details.
  7. Click Save.
