Configuring Secondary Audio Programming for Cox TV

Solution

Select from one of the two options below to change the Secondary Audio Programming (SAP).

Quick Menu

Perform the following steps to turn on or off SAP for a Cox TV box.

Using the Cox remote control, press the down arrow button.

Result: A menu bar displays at the bottom of the screen.

Using the arrow buttons, highlight the option to the right of SAP.

  • If the option displays <Off>, then SAP is currently off.
  • If the option displays <On>, then SAP is currently on.

Press the SELECT button to change the setting to <On> or <Off> as desired.

Press the EXIT button to return to your program.

Menu Settings

Perform the following steps to turn on or off SAP for a Cox TV box.

Using the Cox remote control, press the blue COX menu button.

Result: A menu box displays.

Using the Down arrow button, highlight Settings, then press SELECT.

Result: The settings menu displays three columns.

Using the Down arrow button, highlight Audio & Video.

Using the arrow buttons, highlight Audio Settings located in the middle column, then press SELECT.

Result: The audio settings menu displays

Using the Down arrow button, highlight Audio Language.

Using the arrow buttons, select one of the options below, then press SELECT.

  • Primary - Use this setting to turn SAP off.
  • Alternate (SAP) - Use this setting to turn SAP on.

Note: A dot displays next to the option selected.

Press EXIT to exit the menu and return to your programming.
