Deleting Mailboxes in Mailbox Manager

Solution

When a mailbox is deleted, the mailbox and all of its emails are permanently removed.

Use for Deleting a Mailbox

Deleting a mailbox should only be done when you are sure that you want to permanently delete all of the email in the mailbox and remove it forever. It is not possible to recover a mailbox that has been deleted.

Deleting

To delete a mailbox, complete the following steps.

A deleted mailbox cannot be recovered or undeleted. Mail in a deleted mailbox is gone forever.

From the Mailbox Detail View for the mailbox, click Delete mailbox.

From the Delete Mailbox window, complete the following steps.

Carefully read the warning.
In the text box, type the full email address.
Click Delete.

Result: The mailbox and all of the email it contained are permanently deleted.
