Your MyAccount username is used to establish your Webex for Cox Business service. To successfully use Webex, you must ensure you do not have an existing Webex username that matches your MyAccount username.
Note: If you do not have a Webex account, refer to https://www.cox.com/business/collaboration/webex.html.
If you have an existing Webex username, choose one of the following options.
- Delete the existing Webex account / username. Cox Business can then create a username with Webex.
- Change your MyAccount username to prevent a conflict with the existing Webex username.
If your MyAccount username contains a domain that is claimed by Webex, choose one of the following options.
- Release the domain.
- Change your MyAccount username to prevent a conflict with the existing Webex username.
- This indicates that there is an existing Webex service.
- The username must be removed / released by your current Webex administrator before proceeding with Cox Webex Activation.
