Remote Management

Details

Remotely manage or have an IT vendor remotely manage the Cox gateway. The static IP address is assigned to the WAN interface of the Cox gateway allowing the gateway to have a permanent address that is known to the user or their vendor.


Note
: Smart Business Gateway in CB MyAccount is the recommended functionality.

The Smart Business User Guide is in the support section of the Cox website. Most gateway management capability is available through Cox Business MyAccount including functions that cannot be performed using traditional remote management.
