Verify your Internet Gateway eWAN is installed and operational. See Self-Installing the Internet Gateway eWAN for details.

Complete the following steps to plug in the wireless Contour receiver.
- Place the receiver where it will get a strong signal from the Gateway without metal or a wall separating the two.
- Connect the HDMI cord to the HDMI port on the wireless Contour receiver and to an HDMI input on your TV.
- Connect the power cord to the Contour receiver and to an electrical outlet.
Note: Ensure that the electrical outlet isn't connected to a dimmer or a switched outlet.

Complete the following steps to activate the wireless Contour receiver.
- Power on your TV.
- Using your original TV remote, press the input or source button and select the HDMI input for the wireless Contour receiver.
- Follow the on-screen activation steps to connect the wireless Contour receiver to the Gateway.
- Select your wifi network.
- Enter the password and select Confirm.
- Follow the on-screen activation steps to name your device and pair the remote.
