Using Speed Calling

You may enter up to 38 telephone numbers, local or long distance, into your Speed Calling list. You can then dial those numbers by dialing just a one or two-digit code followed by the # symbol. The numbers will be assigned a code of 2 to 9 or 20 to 49.

Create a Speed Calling List

Follow the steps below to create your Speed Calling list.

Complete the following steps.

1. Make a list of numbers that you frequently dial.
2. Assign each number a speed dial code of 2 - 9 or 20 - 49.
    
   Note: Numbers 10 - 19 cannot be used for Speed Calling.

Complete the following steps.

1. Lift the handset and dial *74 for Speed Dial 8 or *75 for Speed Dial 100.
2. Listen for the dial tone.

Complete the following steps.

1. Dial the speed dial code assigned to the number you want to store.
2. Dial the phone number associated with the speed dial code.
    
   Note: For long distance calls, add the 1 and the area code.

Complete the following steps.

1. Press #.
2. Listen for the confirmation tone.
    
   Note: Once you have the list created, to call someone on the Speed Calling list, dial the assigned one or two-digit code, then press #.

Edit Speed Calling List

Follow the steps below to edit your Speed Calling list.

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.

Complete the following steps.

1. Press *74 for Speed Dial 8 or *75 for Speed Dial 100.
2. Listen for the dial tone

Dial the speed dial code you want to change

Complete the following steps.

1. Listen for the cancellation tone.
2. Follow steps 3 and 4 for Creating a Speed Calling List to reprogram your speed dial code.
