Viewing Global URL Filter Blocks

Solution

Global URL Filters provide web page protection for user groups using the following filters.

  • Web filtering
  • Devices on which the web pages were blocked for all user groups

Note: User Groups only display for Premium service subscribers. To learn more about the Premium service options, see Cox Business Essential Security.

Complete the following steps to view Global URL Filter Block data.

Log in to MalBlock DNS Security. See Logging into MalBlock DNS Security.

From the MalBlock dashboard, select Web Filter Blocks.

The default group is set to All Groups. You can filter groups based on the new groups you create. To set up additional user groups, see Setting Up MalBlock DNS Security User  Groups.
 

You can view and analyze the following information.

  • Web pages blocked
  • Category threat type
  • Date
  • Number of times blocked
  • Devices on which the web pages were blocked for all groups

To export blocked website data, click Export Raw Data.

Result: The data is saved as a CSV file in your Downloads folder on your device.
