Apple TV+ — which has quickly become an award-winning streaming service — is available on Cox Contour. Since its 2019 debut with just eight series, Apple TV+ has released dozens of original shows and movies, amassing more than 750 award nominations and 190 wins.
The service made history with CODA, which earned the first Best Picture win for a streaming service. Its feel-good series Ted Lasso also picked up the Best Comedy Series trophy at the 2022 Primetime Emmys. Now you can watch these titles and many more on the Contour TV or Cox Contour Stream Player.
Cox customers who are not currently Apple TV+ subscribers are eligible for a three-month free trial of Apple TV+ when they access the offer via the Cox Contour remote by Dec. 14, 2022. A subscription can be shared with up to five family members via Family Sharing.
What You Can Watch on Apple TV+
Apple TV+ focuses mostly on original content, rather than licensed content. As Apple CEO Tim Cook has previously said, “The objective and philosophy of Apple TV+ is to create high-quality original content and to be one of the most desired platforms for storytellers."
Here's some of the high-quality coming to Apple TV+ over the holiday season. In November, the service will release the psychological drama film Causeway, starring Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence as a soldier who struggles to recover from a traumatic brain injury.
Also arriving the same month is Spirited, a musical comedy retelling of A Christmas Carol with Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer. On the series side, The Mosquito Coast Season 2 and Mythic Quest Season 3 will air, while the black ops thriller Echo 3 makes its debut.
In December, 2022, Apple TV+ will debut the historical thriller Emancipation starring recent Oscar-winner Will Smith as an enslaved man who flees the South. Season 2 of spy thriller Slow Horses is also set to begin streaming.
