If I have HBO/ HBO Max, do I now have Max?
Yes! If you previously logged into the HBO Max app, simply use the same username and password to log into Max. All profiles and watch history should automatically carry over.
The Max app will have the HBO Max movies and series that you already love, plus an expanded catalog with new favorites in genres like true crime, documentaries, food, home, life>
How do I access/sign in?
Contour and Contour Stream Player will seamlessly update as of May 23rd. If you had HBO Max installed on a mobile device, one of two things will happen: 1) HBO Max will automatically update to Max, or 2) When you open HBO Max, you’ll be prompted to download Max.
If you never logged into the HBO Max app, you will have to set up your account for the first time. It will be easy - use your Cox user ID and password to log in to the app on Contour, Contour Stream Player, or other supported devices.
Can I still use the HBO Max app now that the Max app has launched?
As of May 23rd, the HBO Max app will become Max and you will be directed to log into Max on Contour, Contour Stream Player, and all your favorite devices.
How does a new customer sign up for Max?
You can add Max to your video or internet package by visiting Cox.com/myaccount. You’ll then use your Cox user ID and password to log into Max on Contour, Contour Stream Player, and other supported devices.
With a Max subscription with Cox, you will have

Just say “Max” into your Contour Voice Remote to watch live or On Demand . You can also search by show, movie or actor/actress.
