Cox modem update
A change is happening in your community
Why are we doing this?
Your community now features Cox pre-installed modems in all available units. Since you’re already a Cox customer, no action is required on your part. But please be aware that from this point forward, your modem is unique to this unit and may not be moved to another address.
When you move
When you move out, there’s no need to keep your device or return it to Cox. Simply leave it in the unit.
FAQs
How do I know if my device belongs to the unit?
A letter and email communications will notify customers if their device has migrated to a status that stays in the unit.
If I don’t rent my device from Cox, do I leave it in the unit? Does my device qualify as a Panoramic Wifi device?
No. The qualifying Panoramic Wifi modems assigned to the unit are DOCSIS 3.1 Panoramic Wifi Gateway devices being rented from Cox. More information can be found on Cox-Provided Modems and Gateways here: https://www.cox.com/residential/support/cox-certified-cable-modems.html.
What if I want to take the Panoramic Wifi device with me when I move?
The device belongs to the unit for the next tenant and will not be supported outside the assigned unit. If device is removed and not returned, it may be subject to non-return fees, so please leave in your unit. If Cox Internet service is available at your new home, you will have the opportunity to have move-in ready Wifi at your next home or you can choose to rent a new device.
