After the promotional period, then-current regular rates apply to all of your services. But you can always make a change to your plan based on what meets your needs. Additionally, if your promotional period included a term agreement, you will no longer be subject to early termination fees after your promotional period ends.

If you want to maximize your internet speeds, try these things out for starters:
 

  • Place your modem or gateway in a central location in your home. Be sure to pick an open area where the signal can’t be blocked by other objects.

  • Upgrade your older smart devices to new ones that can support faster speeds.

  • Keep tabs on how many devices are online at the same time. Too many devices can slow down your connection.

For reliable coverage, Panoramic Wifi is the way to go. The Panoramic Wifi Gateway automatically selects the best wifi frequencies for your smart devices, and uses a technique called Band Steering to give your devices the bandwidth they need. Plus, you can add optional Panoramic Wifi Pods to extend your wifi coverage to those hard-to-reach places in your home.

All Cox Internet plans include 1.25 TB (1,280 GB) per month of data usage. Additional Data Plans can be added for an additional monthly charge. Excess usage is $10 per additional 50 GB block, except for Unlimited Data Plan subscribers. Unused data does not roll over.
