Using Motion Detection Capability With Cox Homelife Cameras

Motion detection capable cameras are used for notifications and to initiate recording video or taking photos. If the motion detection is turned on for a capable camera, then motion events detected by the camera display in the Activity menu.
 

Motion detection only registers every three minutes. If motion occurs within three minutes of the first motion event, then it is not displayed in the history nor would it trigger an event. After three minutes, the camera resets and is available to detect the next motion event.
