Change the Business Security Solutions Verbal Passcode / Secret Word

Your verbal passcode / secret word is used to cancel a dispatch by the Central Monitoring Station (CMS) in the event of a false alarm. The CMS operator cannot view your secret word, their access is limited to entering the word that you provide to them to cancel the alarm.

You have the ability to change and update your verbal passcode / secret word in the Security Solutions subscriber portal or mobile app.

Note: Make your verbal passcode / secret word easy to remember, pronounce, and spell. This ensures your verbal passcode / secret word is accepted by the CMS when canceling an alarm.
