Note: The ability to replay live or recorded TV can be done using one of the following methods.
The color of the LED indicates whether the remote is operating in infrared (IR) or radiofrequency (RF) mode, as shown in the table below.
LED Color | Status | Action |
---|---|---|
Green | A command was sent and received in RF mode. | No action required, the remote is paired to the receiver. If there is the latency of more than 5 seconds, unpair and re-pair the remote and receiver. |
Green, red | A command was sent in RF mode, but the receiver did not confirm. | Unpair and re-pair the remote and receiver. |
Red | A command was sent in IR mode. The LED blinks red once for all TV and audio device commands. | If the remote LED blinks red after a command to the receiver, such as pressing the GUIDE button, the remote is in IR mode. Unpair and re-pair the remote and receiver for RF operation. |
