Keypad codes are the four-digit codes used to arm, disarm, or manage system settings for your detection system.
You can create keypad codes for your employees or guests for a specified day or specified permission levels. The table below provides information about each type of keypad code.
Code Type | Description |
---|---|
Master | The master keypad code is used in order to add or edit other codes and set permissions. The master keypad code can be changed but it cannot be deleted. |
Duress | The duress code is a unique four-digit code used if someone was forcing an employee to arm or disarm their system. When this code is used, the police are dispatched immediately and without a verification call. The duress code can be changed but it cannot be deleted. |
Arm/Disarm | Employees or guests with Arm/Disarm keypad codes can arm or disarm your detection system on the days you specify. |
Arm Only | Employees or guests with Arm Only keypad codes can only arm your detection system on the days you specify. These users cannot disarm your security system. |
Those with a master code can add, delete, and edit keypad codes from the subscriber portal, the mobile app, or the touchscreen.
