What are the advantages to the device payment plans and making payments?
Device payment plans allow you to pay a smaller amount each month instead of paying for the full amount outright. And with 0% APR,* you will not have to pay more than the total amount of the device. Additionally, Citizens Pay gives you access to a revolving line of credit which you can use to make multiple purchases at Cox Mobile, within your credit limit, without having to submit another credit application or having to worry about juggling multiple loans.
Can I use device payment plans when pre-ordering a device?
Yes, you may use device payment plans to pay for pre-ordered devices. The line of credit will be opened once your device is ready to ship. See Citizens Pay Line of Credit Agreement for full terms and conditions.
Will I need to complete this process every time I want to use a device payment plan?
Citizens Pay is offering Cox Mobile customers a revolving Line of Credit product. Once you have your Citizens Pay account open, future purchases can be made up to the credit limit you're given, without needing to reapply as long as your account is still active. Inactive accounts close after 90 days of inactivity once the balance has been paid.
What do I need to qualify for device payment plans?
To get started, you will provide your name, social security number, billing address, annual income and monthly housing cost. Citizens pay will check your eligibility - which does not affect your credit score. If you are eligible, you'll need to complete the credit application process which can affect your credit score.
How do I make payments to Citizens Pay?
Payments on your device are to be made through Citizens Pay. Set-up auto-payments, view your financing bill or check-on your Line of Credit by visiting their site. Your bill and payments for your Cox Mobile service are made to Cox via EasyPay. You can view your bill on Cox.com by selecting MyAccount.
