Cox Internet Setup Guide

Refer to the following steps to connect your Panoramic Wifi Gateway.

Note: For Easy Connect kit contents, refer to Cox Internet Kit Contents.

To get the strongest Wi-Fi signal, place the Gateway at least three feet above the ground and avoid cramped spaces.
If you have Cox Voice service and want to use the Gateway, insert your phone cord into the top left phone port.

Connect the Coax Cable

Connect the coax cable to the Gateway and an active cable outlet.

Connect the power cord to the Gateway and an electrical outlet.

Note: Ensure the electrical outlet isn’t connected to a dimmer.

Easy Connect Tip: If you’re having trouble connecting, wait a few minutes and try again.

Wait about ten minutes for the Gateway to power on.

Open the wifi settings on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
From the list of available networks, connect to your home Wi-Fi found on the bottom of your device.

Do not connect to the COX WIFI hot spot as it is not your personal home network.
Once it’s connected to the network, open a browser and surf the web to verify that your internet is good to go.
